Connect Stripe payments
Connect Stripe, read the Stripe readiness states, and know when Stripe-backed booking and gift-card payment flows are ready to launch.
Why Stripe readiness matters
Stripe is the payment connection used when a restaurant collects Stripe-backed deposits, prepaid bookings, optional prepay, card guarantees, or gift-card checkout. A restaurant can still take basic reservations without Stripe. Any flow that will use Stripe to charge a guest or save a card must wait until the Stripe card is Ready.
Card guarantees are Stripe-only. Deposits, Prepay, and Optional Prepay can use another supported provider where available, so use this guide when the restaurant's payment provider is Stripe.
Gift-card selling through the Stripe path also requires a ready Stripe account. If Stripe is not ready, existing gift-card products and issued cards remain visible in Gift Cards, but product edits and public checkout stay blocked.
Manage Stripe from Settings / Integrations.

Read the Stripe card
Use the status badge and action button on the Stripe card:
- Not connected means no Stripe connected account is stored for the restaurant. Select Connect Stripe to start onboarding.
- Action required means the account exists, but Stripe details are incomplete or Stripe returned pending requirements. Select Complete setup and finish the missing items in Stripe.
- Under review means account details were submitted, but Stripe has not enabled charges yet. Wait for Stripe verification, then select Refresh status.
- Ready means account details are submitted, there are no pending requirements, and charges are enabled.
When Stripe reports requirements, Reslify groups them as Personal details, Business details, Bank account, Identity verification, Terms of Service, or Additional information required.
Connect or finish setup
- Open Settings / Integrations.
- Find Stripe.
- Select Connect Stripe if the card is Not connected, or Complete setup if it shows Action required.
- Complete the Stripe onboarding flow.
- Return to Reslify.
- Select Refresh status.
- Confirm that the Stripe card shows Ready.
If onboarding is cancelled, the restaurant can resume setup from the same card later. If the card still shows Action required, finish the missing Stripe requirements before publishing Stripe-backed paid flows. If it shows Under review, wait for Stripe to finish verification and refresh again.
Check launch impact
When Stripe is Ready, the restaurant can launch Stripe-backed versions of these flows:
- Deposit bookings that charge the guest during reservation checkout.
- Prepay experiences that require full payment before the reservation is accepted.
- Optional Prepay experiences for guests who choose to pay now. The pay-at-venue fallback does not create a paid checkout path.
- Card required reservations that save a card guarantee for later no-show or late-cancellation charges.
- Stripe gift-card checkout, after at least one active gift-card product exists.
Configure each feature separately under Settings / Experiences / Payment policy or Gift Cards. Stripe readiness only confirms that Reslify can create the payment or card-setup session; it does not publish those policies by itself.
Keep the status current
Use Refresh status after Stripe onboarding, after updating Stripe account or payout details, after resolving Stripe requirements, or when a Stripe-backed feature appears unavailable even though the account was previously connected.
